The scholar’s ruling behind this
Permitted for a stated term on the Maliki position, conditional on the term being fixed at the outset and on the capital being preserved for its duration. This departs from the majority, who hold perpetuity to be a condition of validity, and a Waqif must be told so before declaring.
The majority hold perpetuity (ta'bid) to be a condition of validity, so that a dedication for a term is not a waqf at all. The Maliki school permits a waqf for a stated term, the corpus reverting when the term ends. This adoption follows the Maliki position and records it as a divergence rather than as settled ground. A Waqif who believes they are creating a perpetual dedication and receives a terminable one has not been told what they are doing, so the divergence belongs in the ruling and not only in the file.

This condition is recorded, not enforced
The ruling sets a condition and the platform records it. It does not yet test whether a waqf made under this form meets it, so seeing the form on offer does not mean the condition has been met. Until that test exists the obligation sits with whoever administers the waqf, which is where the ruling puts it in any case.
The fixed term and preservation of capital are stated in this ruling and are not enforced by this adoption. No condition is bound to it. The divergence from the majority position is recorded here so that it travels with the form, but the platform does not compel its disclosure to a Waqif.
